No parking at the venue
From the couple's 1 November email. The wedding site's Q&A still says there's plenty, but the email is newer. Their suggestions are below. It's also worth asking the hotel whether the car can stay after check-out, and taking a cab over.

Bring a bottle
One vodka, gin, rum or tequila as your plus-one. It's a dry hire venue, and the bar staff make cocktails from them.

Takes you to Sale, so finish the last bit yourself. Roughly four and a half to five hours. The party runs to 1am, and whoever drives stays off the drink.
On the roadStops
Norton Canes (Roadchef)
M6 Toll, between T6 and T7. Has a LEON. Good first stop going south, but it's on the M6 Toll, so tolls apply.
Rugby (Moto)
M6 J1, just before the M1. Rated Britain's best services, no LEON. Good halfway stop both ways.
Northampton (Roadchef)
M1 J15A. LEON is on the northbound side, so useful on the Friday drive home.
